The Department of Music at Mount Allison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Voice Performance. The minimum requirement is a Master of Music degree. Priority will be given to applicants with a completed Doctorate in Voice Performance, an established record as a performer, and teaching experience at the university level. Teaching responsibilities will include weekly studio instruction in voice, overseeing student performance preparation, and hearing performance juries associated with these students. Other responsibilities may include direction of the Opera Workshop ensemble, and courses in Vocal Pedagogy and Diction. Courses will be taught on the campus of Mount Allison University. The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and will be effective July 1, 2015, subject to budgetary approval.

Application materials should include a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and an audio- or video-recording of recent solo performance. Three letters of reference should be sent directly by the referees. Applications should be sent to the address below. Electronic submissions are preferred.
